Welcome to November and Daylight Savings Time Everyone!
Some months are more prolific than others and this past month was not my best but I certainly had a fabulous time just the same.
This month I will share the pieces I completed for my website, a sample piece from the Jonathan Talbot workshop in order to explain the process and 4 donated pieces I did for the Taos Feral Feline Friends Annual Fundraiser.
The next piece has no name as it was my sample piece at the workshop to try various techniques.
Jonathan Talbot's method of collage assures that you will have a flat surface when finished without air bubbles.
- Gloss medium your substrate
- Gloss medium both sides of papers, cloths, etc. that you will use in the collage and let substrate and papers dry completely before adhering.
- When dry, using the Release Paper and Tacking Iron, adhere papers to substrate.
This is a very quick review of his method, but if you are interested in pursuing this method please go to his website at: www.talbot1.com where you can order the release paper, tacking iron and the book that explains the process in much more detail. All items are reasonably priced.

The following three pieces are card sets I created for the fundraiser.
